There are a number of shopping alternatives on the METU Campus. You can find whatever you need in Şok Market and the Shopping Center that are in Çarşı Sitesi. In the Shopping Center there is a drugstore, photography shop, stationery store, billiards room, boutique, bookstore and some places for dining. Furthermore, one can find a tailor, a shoemaker, a hairdresser's and a barber's shop. Newspapers and magazines, in both English and Turkish, can be bought from the store at the entrance of the cafeteria, and from the buffet in front of the 3rd Dormitory.
